Your day starts with a relaxing train journey to the spectacular Lake District National Park Area.

On your arrival in Oxenholme you'll be met by a local Guide from Mountain Goat Tours, who will take you on your tour of the Lake District. This tour allows sufficient time to relax and enjoy the lakes and tarns and to stroll at beautiful Tarn Hows. Visit the ancient villages of Hawkshead, Grasmere, Sawrey and Elterwater. Spend 40 minutes at Hill Top, the home of Beatrix Potter which remains exactly as the she left it, and enjoy a 35 minute Lake Cruise on Coniston Water. Photo opportunities are available at all stages of the tour including Dove Cottage, home of the poet William Wordsworth.

Return to Bowness-on-Windermere, where afternoon tea is provided at the ‘World of Beatrix Potter’.

We will get you back to Oxenholme station in time to make the 5.13pm train back to London, arriving back at Euston Station at approx 8.30pm.

Trains depart London Euston Station, meet the Evan Evans representative at 6:15am in front of the main ticket office.
