Review: The London Eye
I've been on the London Eye a few times and have mixed feelings ...
The London Eye has become an important part of the London skyline and one of the more popular tourist attractions. You get to see London form a completely difference perspective and it's something you should do at least once. The downside is that it's very busy and while the organisation is superb, the experience left me feeling rushed and slightly disappointed. The price has steadily increased over the years and for a half-hour ride, the current £15.50 ticket price seems a little steep - I certainly don't recommend the "fast-track" ticket unless you have a very tight schedule.
If you have a fear of heights or suffer from claustrophobia then this may not be for you ... but the views are superb.
