The rivalry between the UK's oldest universities dates back centuries and, on this full-day Tour, you'll be exploring the historical cities behind these two prestigious institutions. You'll also visit the famous colleges from these universities and walk in the footsteps of some of history's most famous alumni.

Oxford

Oxford, the 'City of Dreaming Spires,' whose hushed courtyards have inspired generations of scholars including Bill Clinton and writers, Lewis Carroll who wrote 'Alice in Wonderland', C.S. Lewis who wrote 'Chronicles of Narnia' and the immortal J.R.R. Tolkien, author of 'Lord of the Rings'. See the Bodleian Library and the picture-perfect college courtyards for which Oxford is justifiably famous.

In Christ Church college, you will be visiting one of the University's most prestigious colleges. Its beautiful architecture has seen it featured in movies such as Harry Potter and The Golden Compass. The dining hall in all Harry Potter movies is modelled on the Christ Church dining hall!

Cambridge

A city renowned for its unique, ornate buildings and culture, Cambridge is a historic city full of character. You'll see the best that Cambridge has to offer on a walking tour of the city with your Expert Guide.

Tour Starts: 9.00am Victoria Coach Station (boarding commences 8.30am)
Tour Finishes: approx 7.00pm Victoria Train Station

Victoria Coach Station: Is a 10-15 minute walk from Victoria Train Station. Boarding: Commences 30 minutes prior to departure and the gates close 2 minutes in advance of departure. On Board Our Coaches: There are no toilets and no hot drinks or hot food are allowed (cold drinks & odourless food are allowed).

Please note, you do NOT require a printed copy of your eticket. On booking, you'll recieve an email confirmation with your eticket. If you don't have access to a printer, an electronic copy on your phone is sufficient to join the tour.
